Pandora Radio

Pandora Radio isn't actually like any type of Internet radio or regular radio that we are used to. There are stations but they aren't hosted by anyone. The station is created by you the user. So when you create a station you enter the artist name or song and press enter. Then when you make your station, Pandora comes up with an endless play list of music by that artist and music by other artists that sound just like them. It's actually pretty amazing how good Pandora is at telling you what kind of music you like. Try it. You might end up listening to this more than your iTunes library.

Transformers 2 'Revenge Of The Fallen'

Decepticons rule! I cant wait to see this movie. I'm sorry I just love robots. More previews are on youtube.

Robots can clean your house!

Finally what we saw in the "Jetsons" is finally coming to life. Here is a robot housekeeper funded by Toyota and developed by Information and Robot Technology in Tokyo, Japan. In the video, the robot washes dishes, does the laundry, and sweeps the floor. Now your wife will have time to do her hair! There is a ton of robot videos on Youtube that are quite entertaining. I can't help but try to watch all of them. Japan is very busy developing these robots, ultimately trying to force the work load on the robots so future generations can sit around and watch futuristic television.

"Life is greater than the internet"

This is pretty cool stuff. These guys got they're iPhones together and started an iBand. There is some more stuff by these guys on youtube. Also check out some music made with the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. These applications with touch screens and wifi capability can mean some almost endless possibilities when creating electronic music. I myself have a Nintendo DS with the Korg DS-10 Synthesiser application and it rocks for making some trippy ass techno, it just has no MIDI capabilities. But luckily there is some homebrew apps for the DS out there that, through wifi connection to a PC or mac, can utilize MIDI and act as a MIDI controller. I like the idea of using unconventional ways to make music, which is why I have dabbled into it. Search around for some cool videos on youtube, there are a ton of vids of people making music with some weird toys. Some of the music sucks, some of it is really good.

Lara the robot, first robot to get a seat on a plane

That's right, LARA (Lego Autonomous Robotic Android) went for a plane ride for the first time on On May 7, 2009 from Houston to Michigan. She placed 5th at Robofest and the team that created her decided to take LARA on the plane and give her her own seat (haha robot rights, The Matrix is coming true). But they had some trouble on the way getting through security. The robot was being thoroughly inspected and the team investigated. They made it on the plane because one guard saw Robofest on the news the day before.
